Following the end of the potion game, a chime echoed from a magical crystal ball before it began to speak throughout the academy.  

 

"Attention all students: all student dorms are now prepared. Please make your way to your assigned dorms and take the time to settle in!"

 

Medallion tiles decorating the floor began to glow, creating a pathway towards the dorms. With the glistening, bright blue reflection from a ceiling filled with ocean water and comforting sunset shining through arched windows, the beauty of the Sky Palace was much to take in. Once the fairy vials walked past the gleaming entrance hallways, there were two sets of dormitories located on the first and second floors. 

 

On the first floor were the Nocturne dorms. Each dorm room has an insulated sliding room that leads them directly to Florafae Gardens; a luscious garden that possesses a variety of herbs, flowers, fauna, and other natural resources for students to gather. Certain flower species in the gardens would glow as radiant as the stars at nighttime, perfect for picnics under the moonlight. 

 

The Luminelle dorms are placed above the Nocturne dorms. While the Nocturne dorms have sliding doors, Luminelle has sliding ceilings that connect to the open roof for sky viewing with a pathway in between. The open roof is used for students to enjoy the fresh air and star gazing among other things. 

 

When the students received their Sky Palace invitation letter, they were instructed to mail back their response and submit dorm preferences so the academy can assign the appropriate dorm rooms. While Luminelle and Nocturne dorms are divided, they are known to share most of the room layout: a general sitting area used for studying and a small hallway that leads students to their bedroom and lavatory. For shared dorm rooms, the hallways are not installed but instead, it makes space for two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a bigger interior for the study area with a couch and mini kitchen. For all dorms, some doors are connected to the neighboring dorm rooms. Though they have locks to preserve students' privacy. 

 

Each student lined before their door, inserting their dorm key to enter. Right before you reach out for the doorknob, the chime rang out from a distance followed by the headmaster's voice echoes throughout the school once more.

 

"We would like to welcome you once again for Sky Palace! Enjoy your time here and remember to work hard as our Mastros strives to provide you with the best education Asteria has to offer!"

~The Next Morning~

The Sky Palace was greeted with the morning sunlight that reflected off magical crystal balls in each student's room. These balls were to be used for communication between students and announcements (or so the memo left beside them said). An announcement sounded through the school belonging to an unfamiliar voice. 

​

"Attention all students: Please prepare yourselves within 5 minutes and come to the classrooms. You will be attending your first course on magic. Please gather in The Atelier with haste."

​

Some students groaned, wondering if they could grab something to eat before the class. They had been shown the cafeteria area yesterday, but why would they only be given 5 minutes to get ready? What an odd way to start the first day . . .

Following a line of glowing medallions, the students made their way to the first class of the Sky Palace: Introduction to Aura.
